Heal Through Giving

From the President/ CEOSeveral years ago, I was born into a poor peasant family, but I was not born to be poor. I was born to change lives, destinies, people, and nations. Growing up in my little obscured village, I came to know poverty, suffering and pain. I grew up to see my mother suffer so much, trying to support my dad, to feed us (myself and my other five siblings), clothe us, care for us and provide us with basic education. As if that was not enough, I suffered so much sickness and ill health, immediately after High school, the very day I left my village to start my first job as a teenage young High school leaver. As if that was not enough, I lost my wife, who suffered from so much sickness/ illness and strange/unexplainable afflictions, just six years after marriage. She left me with a little girl that was just one year plus, and who was born six years after waiting amidst laughter, mockery and reproach. As if that was not enough, my mom passed, just barely one year after my wife passed, because of a doctor’s case of mismanaged High Blood Pressure (HBP) treatment. As if that was not enough, my younger sister (who was a university undergraduate) and the last of my siblings, suffered so much from sickle cell anemia, passed, after almost 28 years of pains, crises, and plurality of blood infusions. And, as if that was not enough, my dad suffered so much excruciating pains in battling prostate cancer and passed afterward!
